Our partner secondary school is well-facilitated and situated in a modern setting on the outskirts of Oldham and Manchester. With over 1500 students currently on roll, the school is heavily oversubscribed across Key Stages 3 with numbers expected to continue to climb due to continued positive outcomes for students year on year. Situated a short journey from the M60 ring road, there is good accessibility to the school along with a number of public transport links.
The incoming Maths teacher will join one of the school’s flagship departments who generally lead the school in results and have an excellent staff retention rate, with this position arising due to an internal promotion. With the position starting at the beginning of the next academic year, the successful applicant will assume full responsibility of their groups from September including planning, marking and preparing students for end of year examinations.
As the school move into the new academic year, there will be capacity for newly qualified Maths teachers to join the school and start their NQT induction year whilst being supported and given the tools to succeed in their role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
