The Deputy Head of a forward-thinking and innovative Secondary school based in the heart of Preston is seeking to appoint a highly skilled Teacher of Maths to join their friendly and welcoming team, on a full time basis from September 2019.
This is an brilliant opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified Teacher of Maths to join a highly successful Maths department. QTS is essential and an ability to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Full time Teacher of Maths commencing September 2019.

As the successful Teacher of Maths you can expect to join a very successful Mathematics department which achieve well above the national averages, in terms of achievement. The schemes of work across Key stages 3 and 4 are well-resourced and are frequently updated, utilising a plethora of resources and electronic materials.
The incoming Teacher of Maths will be responsible for;
- Support with the development of Schemes of Work in line with the National Curriculum for Maths.
- Plan, prepare and deliver differentiated maths lessons to meet the needs of individual learners at various levels of learning.
- Assess and evaluate class work reporting back to Senior Leadership Teams in order to take appropriate action in order to support pupils in meeting aims and objectives.
- Promote positive behaviour management skills amongst pupils and manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies.
