Maths Teacher - Bolton

Maths teacher required from January 2019.

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit an ambitious and passionate Maths teacher for a position which is set to commence in January 2019 due to an internal promotion within the school.

With the Head of Maths is being promoted to the schools Senior Leadership Team, the school aim to reduce their timetable leading up to January, therefore requiring an additional full time Maths teacher on a temporary basis until the end of the academic year initially.

  • Full time Maths teaching position, January 2019 start.
  • Position opening due to an internal promotion within the Maths teaching faculty.
  • Teachers of all experience levels will be considered and support will be provided.
  • Temporary position paid in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience (£22,917- £38,633)
  • Regular staff training sessions and reviews with the Head of Maths to strive for excellent teaching practice

The Head of Maths wishes to meet with potential Maths teachers at the earliest convenience, prior to October half term in order to successfully appoint the incoming teacher ahead of January 2019.

With the emphasis on teacher development and in-house training within our client Secondary school, the school are considering applications from teachers ranging in experience levels. In order to be considered however, the successful Maths teacher must be able to teach Maths in an engaging manner in order to raise attainment across both Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four.

Although it is not essential, it is beneficial if the successful Maths teacher is competent when using mobile teaching technology and can use it effectively within lessons as a teaching tool. The school utilise this technology to effectively to monitor progress of your pupils.

  • Our client secondary school has around 1300 students on roll and is larger than other schools in the area.
  • The school is just minutes away from the M61 Motorway, making it easily accessible for drivers.
  • There is free on site car parking for all teaching staff working at the school.
  • Located in Farnworth (Bordering Kearsley, Swinton and Prestwich), there are an abundance of public transportation links surrounding the school.
