Job description

Maths teacher required at an Ofsted graded Good Roman Catholic Secondary school in Bolton from April 2018.

Due to a restructure within their Maths department, this popular 11 - 16 secondary have the opportunity for a

  • Full time Maths teacher required from Easter 2018
  • Permanent position available to the incoming Maths teacher
  • Teaching both KS3 and GCSE Maths within a well established and managed department
  • Ofsted graded 'Good' school located on the outskirts of Bolton town centre

"Due to an internal promotion, we have the opportunity for a Maths teacher to join our team in April 2018. We wish to appoint an enthusiastic practitioner who can stretch the learning of our pupils and consistently delivering outstanding practice. Both experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply, with induction support available to NQT's" Headteacher.

The school holds a strong catholic ethos, although it is not essential that you are catholic to be considered for this position, applicants must respect the catholic ethos. Located a short drive from the M61 motorway and has direct access from the surrounding areas; Bury, Bolton, Rochdale, Manchester, Wigan and Chorley. There are just over 1200 pupils on roll in school with an average number of pupils speak English as an additional language.
