Supply Maths Teacher Stockport
- Full-time temporary position
- Maths up to key stage 4
- October 2018 - January 2019 in the first instance
- Pay to reflect MPS/UPS (23,720 - £39,406)
The role:
Teaching Personnel are working with a small Catholic secondary school in Stockport who are looking for a temporary Maths teacher to join the department on a full-time basis until January 2019. The successful Maths teacher will join the department after the October half term and will be required to teach Maths to groups of students from all abilities across years 7 - 11 (key stage 3 and key stage 4).
The successful teacher will hold UK QTS and will have experience teaching key stage 3 and key stage 4 Maths. The successful Maths teacher will ensure that all lessons are planned with clear aims and objectives. They will ensure that all lessons are delivered in line with the departmental schemes of work and school policies and will take into account the differing ability lessons of students and differentiate work accordingly.
The school:
Located in Stockport, a short drive from the Manchester ring road, our client school is a small Media Arts Specialist School with over 550 pupils on roll. As a small Catholic school, staff work relentlessly to ensure that the catholic ethos is recognised throughout the school and to provide the highest standards of teaching for all students. This is a welcoming school where both students and staff are highly valued. Tolerance, honest, cooperation and mutual respect for others is fostered though out.
Due to need within the staff department, the school are looking for a temporary Maths teacher to cover an absence within the department. The successful Maths teacher will join the school in October 2018 and will be required until January 2019 and the Head of Department is looking to interview immediately.
