Job description

Teaching personnel are currently in the process of recruiting several Maths specialist Graduates to work within our partner Secondary school based in Bury, Greater Manchester in the new academic year, September 2018.

If you wish to gain practical experience in a secondary school rated 'Good with Outstanding Features' ahead of a possible teacher training course or wishing to develop a better understanding of the Mathematics classroom dynamic then this role may be ideal for you.

  • Full time Maths Teaching Assistant role, September 2018.
  • Must hold a graduate Maths degree.
  • Work 1:1 with pupils alongside supporting the class teacher with the teaching and learning of pupils.
  • Deliver Maths lessons with pre-set work and full guidance or support small intervention groups for identified pupils who require further support.
  • Opportunity to progress through CPD training programmes.
  • Earn up to £300 per week. Experience dependant*

This mixed, voluntary aided, secondary school is based in the heart of Bury and can easily be accessed via the M60 and the surrounding areas; Salford, Rochdale and Bolton. The school also has various public transport options with links throughout Greater Manchester.
