Job description

A client primary school in the Levenshulme area of Manchester (M19) are seeking a maths graduate teaching assistant to join their KS2 team on a full time basis starting as soon as possible. The school are seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant, who has prior experience working with primary aged children, to support in their Year 5 and 6 classes in the run up until the end of Year SATS.

The successful candidate will run interventions with groups of children to aid their progression in maths to encourage them to meet their expected levels. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the KS2 maths curriculum and will have prior experience supporting children's learning within a education establishment. This would be a great opportunity for the right graduate who is looking to develop their career in education.

The successful candidate will,

  • Be seeking a career within the education sector
  • Will be confident working with children in small groups and 1:1
  • Will be confident delivering maths interventions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
