Are you graduating this year in Maths and looking to gain experience in secondary schools before undertaking your PGCE?

A secondary school located in central South Manchester is seeking Maths Graduates to work in school as TA's. The school are seeking a number of Maths TA's to provide support within the Maths department in order to raise attainment. There are opportunities for positions starting both after Easter, and after May half term. The positions are due to continue until summer initially, with the possibility to continue into the new academic year.

As a Maths TA you will be providing support both in and out of the classroom. You will be working with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, helping with subject knowledge within Maths and keeping them on task. In addition to this, you will be providing Maths intervention sessions to pupils in small groups and 1:1, helping to raise levels using focused learning.

The successful TA will be able to deliver engaging work to pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, and display good behavioural management in these sessions.

  • Pay rate £250 - £300 per week

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
