Are you a recent Maths Graduate wishing to pursue a career in Secondary teaching in the future? Do you have a desire to support the learning of pupils within Maths?

If so, Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a Secondary school based near central Derby. The school wish to appoint skilled Mathematics Graduates as part of our Future Teachers Training Programme to work alongside the Maths department to support the learning of all pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

It is preferential that the successful Maths Graduate has previous experience working with young people, either through tuition or a support role.

  • Gain invaluable experience prior to completing PGCE/teacher training course
  • Supporting pupils in class with work, and on a 1:1 basis
  • Reporting to the Head of Maths
  • Covering Maths lessons in the absence of the class teacher
  • Planning and arranging tailored sessions for pupils

The role of Maths Graduate teaching assistant will be to ensure that all pupils are challenged and pushed to achieve in Maths, whilst having the suitable support network around them.
