Maths Graduate position available within one of our client Secondary schools based in Leigh.
Our client Secondary school wish to appoint a Maths Graduate to join them in the new academic year in order to provide support to the Maths department and students in Maths.
** This is an excellent opportunity for Graduates wishing to undertake a teaching career in the future **
- Full-Time Maths Graduate position
- Working within an ‘Ofsted’ graded good secondary school that will support you in preparation for a teacher training application in the future
- Whilst working at our client school you can expect to earn around GBP1100-GBP1250 a month
- You will have access to regular CPD training sessions during your time at school

The school have recently seen a number of changes within their Maths teaching faculty and have now identified that they would like to appoint a Maths Graduate to ensure that the schools results and standards remain high and that students are receiving the best education as possible.
The successful candidate will be a forward-thinking Mathematician with a passion for Maths, and the development of their students. It is essential that the incoming candidate is able to pass their knowledge and passion onto students within school and has a keen interest in the development and results of students within school.
Role and Responsibilities;
- Supporting the learning of students who are behind in their studies, helping them to raise attainment and reach their target grade
- Providing support to the Maths department, assisting teachers with the preparation of lessons (Planning, marking and extra curricular learning.)
- During lessons you will be responsible for ensuring that lessons operate smoothly and that all students are able to complete the work being set by the class teacher
- You will have the opportunity to provide lesson cover in the absence of the class teacher.
Our client Secondary school is larger than the average Secondary school with just over a 1000 pupils currently on roll. In their most recent Ofsted report, the school were graded ‘Good’ across the board and have since highlighted that they would like to push for ‘Outstanding’ in the future.
