A Larger than average Salford (M7) primary school is looking for a graduate Teaching Assistant with a degree in Maths as the school are looking to utilise the graduate's subject knowledge to support children's learning. The school has identified gaps within the schools Key Stage 1 classes in Mathematics and the Head teacher is looking for a Maths graduate to use their knowledge to lead small group interventions to raise attainment.

Ideally, the teaching assistants will be enthusiastic graduates who are looking to make a career out of education/teaching. If you have a strong academic background and ideally have experience working as a teaching assistant in a primary school this could be the role for you. The Head Teacher is also flexible with which Key Stages they will be working in.

The ideal candidate will be supporting learning in Maths on a 1:1 basis or small group interventions to raise attainment in the pupils. If you are looking to complete a PGCE or further your career into teaching, this would be a great opportunity for you. Highlights of the role:
