Do you have a degree in Maths or Science? Do you have experience working with children aged 9-16 years? Are you thinking about doing a PGCE?

Teaching Personnel are looking for a cover supervisor to teach and support key stage 3 pupils at a secondary school in Plymouth. As a cover supervisor at this school you will be supporting and managing a class of up to 30 children at a time and assisting them with their studies on the pre set work for the day. You will be delivering your specialist subject to the class whilst maintaining excellent behaviour management. This role is to start on a temporary basis

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a degree in Maths or Science
  • Have experience working in an educational setting with children aged between 9 -16 years old, this could be in a Teaching Assistant or Football coaching capacity
  • Be available from Easter 2019 to work between 3-5 days per week at this secondary school in Plymouth
  • Have confidence in delivering pre set work to pupils whilst obtaining classroom control
  • NQTs may apply!

Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £44, plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.
