A school on the outskirts of Plymouth require a Geography specialist to work 3 days a week from January 2023 until July 2023. Must either be an early careers teacher (ECT) or fully qualified teacher (FQT) with qualified teacher status (QTS).

 

*Interviews will be taking place between now and mid November to ensure the school have a Teacher secured before the Christmas holiday*

The role:

  • To teach KS3 and KS4 curriculum at a same sex school
  • Current timetable is based on a working week of Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. 
  • Planning, preparation and other duties including parents evening and marking is required in this position - with full support from the Head of department  
  • Pay to scale
  • Supportive and welcoming secondary school
  • Geography doesn't have to be your first subject, but you must be able to teach the curriculum confidently

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
