Are you a qualified mathematics teacher interested in working with small groups of students as a mathematics intervention tutor?  Are you passionate about raising attainment across specific cohorts, and improving understanding across the mathematics curriculum?

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large RC secondary school in North Manchester to recruit for a part-time mathematics intervention tutor, to work with small groups of KS4 pupils in preparation for their GCSE examinations. This role is to start at the earliest opportunity and will continue until June 2020 in the first instance. Hours and days are negotiable to meet the needs of the identified pupils, and to fit around pre-arrangements.

-          Part time mathematics intervention tuition role.

-          Hours and days negotiable, guaranteed work until June 2020 in the first instance.

-          Must hold QTS or have completed a teacher training programme.

-          It is desirable that you have experience delivering intervention sessions or tuition to small groups.

-          Competitive hourly rates of pay dependent on previous experience.

-          Large RC secondary school situated in North Manchester, accessible via the M60 motorway.

The school is situated within a state of the art building, with a specific area for intervention to take place. You will have access to the resources compiled by the mathematics department and will be fully supported with planning and assessing.

Located in North Manchester, our partner RC secondary school can easily be reached from Oldham, central Manchester and south Manchester areas. There are an abundance of public transportation links that lead directly to the school from neighbouring areas, and the M60 motorway provides direct access.
