Maths Teacher (Temporary Contract)

Contract: Part-time 0.6, Monday - Wednesdays

Location: Milton Keynes

A modern, forward-thinking Secondary School with an excellent reputation in the Milton Keynes area is seeking a Maths Teacher on a Temporary Contract from 1st May 2024.

This contract is for a Maths Teacher to support them on a temporary basis only in their Maths Department. This part-time role requires your commitment to teach on Mondays, Tuesdays amd Wednesdays from 8:30am - 3:30pm.

The school is located in Milton Keynes, easily commutable from Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire. As part of being a Maths Teacher here, the expectation is you would teach Maths across Year 7 to Year 11 classes alongside a supportive and dynamic team of Maths Teachers. 

This school hosts around 750 pupils age 11-16 years and can offer established staff with a unique approach to behaviour management and staff support - this School can offer support to you alike no other and care about your progression and future. They are profoundly organised and have an excellent reputation in the Milton Keynes area.

Ideal applicant

  • Qualified Maths Teacher OR Overseased Qualified Maths Teacher with at least 2 years experience teaching Maths in UK
  • Maths Instructor with at least 1 years experience teaching Maths in the UK
  • Highly knowledgeable in GCSE Maths and previously taught GCSE Maths
  • Be passionate about teaching Maths and promoting learning in Maths for excellent results
  • Good or Outstanding classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
  • Be able to plan and deliver creative and stimulating Maths lessons
  • Contribute to the values, ethos and the development of the school

Pay

You would be paid to the National Teacher Pay Scale salary between M1 - M6 on a daily rate equivalent.
