Job description

Full-time Mathematics teacher required for large mixed comprehensive secondary school in Salford to cover a maternity leave from February 2019.

This position will be offered for twelve months initially and due to the nature of the requirement, this may continue beyond February 2020.

The Mathematics department have been praised for successfully raising attainment across the cohort in the past three academic years, and due to this, results have increased dramatically. More than 80% of pupils achieved a grade A*-C in Mathematics last academic year. The incoming Mathematics teacher will be required to demonstrate examples of outstanding practice and support the department in improving grades further.

Located near to the south of Salford, our client secondary school can be accessed via the M602 and A580 (East Lancashire Road). For public transportation users, there are a variety of methods to reach the school from central Manchester, Trafford and Salford central.
