Mathematics teacher required.

Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a Roman Catholic secondary school to recruit a full-time Mathematics teacher from January 2020.

Due to an unexpected resignation, this is the ideal opportunity for a Mathematics teacher looking for a progressive role on a permanent basis.

  • Full time Mathematics teacher required from January 2020.

  • Located on the outskirts of Manchester City Centre on the border of Moston and Harpurhey   
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490)

The ideal Mathematics teacher will be passionate about closing the attainment gap and will set the highest standards upon themselves and pupils to ensure every child receives the best possible education’. In recent inspections, the Mathematics department has been praised for implementing successful strategies for raising attainment and ensuring inclusivity across the faculty. The successful Mathematics teacher will join a department of twelve teachers and have the opportunity to partake in weekly CPD sessions. There will be expectations of the incoming teacher to complete full planning and marking responsibilities, and there will be opportunities for collaborative planning and marking within the department.

With currently 1,300 pupils on roll and the prospect of an increased intake in the new academic year, the RC secondary school is significantly larger than the national average. There have been recent refurbishments at school creating larger classroom space and additional areas for team-teaching exercises.
