Male SEN Sports Teaching Assistant Needed in Great Yarmouth

Male teaching assistants who have particular interest and experience in sport are needed at an SEN school in Great Yarmouth
Are you looking to work in an outstanding Ofsted rated school? Do you have experience and interest in sports? Are you a hard working and motivated individual? *Then this role could be for you!*
This role is available to start either immediately or in September for the new academic year.
You must be available to work at least once weekly (Monday - Friday), between 0830 - 1530.
This school caters for children aged 3-19 years who have complex needs including: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Profound and Multiple Learning Disorders (PMLD). This will require you to be willing to provide personal care for the children. Due to the needs of the school and the children, a male candidate is required.
What is offered:
- Excellent rate of pay (£58.50 - £70 depending on experience)
- Access to outstanding sports facilities and a wide range of sports
What is required:
- Previous experience working with children with complex needs, preferably ASC and PMLD
- Access to a vehicle for transport
- Willingness to work with children with complex needs on a 1:1 or small group basis.
Qualifications are desirable, but not required for this role, however due to the needs of the children; previous experience working with ASC and/or PMLD children is required.
