SEN Teaching Assistant
Job description
Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to reach their full potential? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support to students with a range of SEN requirements.
This is a full-time role, due to begin immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of Education Health and Care Plans for students with SEN.
- Support students in their academic and personal development.
- Collaborate with teachers to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the SENCO and teaching staff.
- Help students develop essential life skills and independence.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable.
- A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
