Job description

An 'Outstanding' Primary School based in Tottenham is looking to hire an enthusiastic and proactive Teaching Assistant to join their current staffing team. They are looking for someone who is patient and calm, someone who can both use their initiative and follow instructions, and can effectively communicate as part of a team.

The role will be to support in Year 3 and Year 4, assisting with lessons across the National Curriculum. The successful Teaching Assistant will:

  • be educated to degree level, or hold a CACHE Level 3
  • Have 1 year of experience supporting in primary education
  • Be highly motivated, enthusiastic and be willing to learn and develop new skills
  • Be keen to work as part of a team and have good communication skills
  • Be committed to promoting the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring equal opportunities to learn and develop.

To apply for this role you must have an enhanced Child Workforce DBS check and be registered on to the update service. Candidates that do not have a current DBS will have to apply for one through the agency. This is compulsory and not optional.
