Job description

Teaching Personnel help education professionals find teaching jobs and classroom support staff roles on a temporary and permanent basis.

We are looking to recruit teaching assistants in the Godalming area that are happy to work on a flexible basis with children that have specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, autism, Asperger's, dyspraxia and ADHD.

The ideal candidates:

  • Creative, inspiring, enthusiastic
  • Flexible and able to adapt in a variety of different situations
  • Experience with children is preferred (SEN would be ideal)
  • Able to work under challenging and demanding conditions

Teaching Personnel do offer training courses in order to help candidates be more successful in their roles such as introduction to autism, moving and handling of objects and people, effective classroom support and Team-Teach.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
