Are you a Science teacher in Plymouth looking for your next long term opportunity?

On behalf of one of our secondary schools, Teaching Personnel are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Science specialist to teach KS3 and KS4 students.

The successful candidate:

  • Must have QTS with a Science degree
  • Will be available from Easter 2019 until the end of the academic year
  • Will become a dedicated member of the supportive and forward thinking science department
  • Will have excellent behaviour control and have the ability and willing to build strong relationships with staff and students
  • Any newly qualified teachers would be considered for this role and would not require experience teaching other than their PGCE placements

About the role:

  • This is a temporary role which has the possibility to become a permanent position
  • Full time Science teaching role in Plymouth from Easter 2019
  • Teachers will be expected to plan and prepare lessons as well as marking, assessing and providing feedback on the students work
  • Pay rates between £115 - £125 per day

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £44, plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.
