English Graduates required to boost Literacy in long term assignments

  • Have you recently finished a degree in English or English Literature?
  • Are you looking to spend the new academic year working in a Wirral based primary school, supporting learning with a range of pupils?
  • Do you plan to train as a Primary teacher in the future

Teaching Personnel has been requested for a Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in the CH62 area of Wirral.

The school are looking for an English specialist who can work with children, one to one and or in small groups to offer intervention and booster sessions in Literacy.

The role will involve 'guided reading', phonics, letter and number formation for the low ability children.

This position would be ideal for an English, English Literature or Creative Writing Graduate who is considering going on to complete a Primary PGCE or BA (Hons) in Primary.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
