Due to previous exam results and a passion for achieving the highest possible results for their children, a primary school in Manchester, Swinton area are looking to appoint 2 core subject graduate teaching assistants. The incoming teaching assistants must have a Maths or English degree as the school are looking to utilise the graduate’s subject knowledge to support children’s learning. The school is looking to appoint two teaching assistants to start ASAP.
Ideally, the teaching assistants will be enthusiastic graduates who are looking to make a career out of education/teaching. If you have a strong academic background and ideally have experience of working as a teaching assistant in a primary school previously, however not desirable. You would be supporting learning in Maths and English specifically in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 on a 1:1 basis or small group interventions. If you are looking to complete a PGCE or further your career into teaching, this would be a great opportunity for you.
