Improve reading through specialised intervention programmes - Intervention Teaching Assistant

Improve reading through specialised intervention programmes in a primary school and the Shrewley area of Warwickshire. If you are a learning support assistant with the literacy skills and experience to really help improve the reading skills and confidence of primary aged pupils, you may want to consider working as Intervention support assistant through Teaching Personnel.

The Role:

- Help pupils practice and improve reading skills

- Identify potential learning gaps and support class teachers in narrowing those gaps

-Help raise pupil attainment

-Encourage pupils and help build there reading confidence

- Compliment classroom teaching

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
