We require passionate and focused teachers to provide Literacy intervention to KS2 pupils in schools throughout South Tyneside. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of teaching intervention both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups and will have the drive to support and guide pupils to succeed and engage in their learning.
You will have excellent Literacy subject knowledge and be able to successfully differentiate to suit the needs of every individual pupil. Experience of Year 6 SATs with proven success in raising attainment is highly desired to maintain the school’s achievement levels. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge and understanding of Read Write Inc. phonics.
