Are you a Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils with additional needs and/or particularly challenging behaviours?

Teaching Personnel work exclusively with a Leyland based School which caters for KS3/4 pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD and pupils who display very challenging behaviours. Pupils in this School are likely to display quite difficult behaviours, either verbally or physically and the School do favour candidates with their Team Teach training.

The School is smaller than average and pupils in the School are generally working at a KS2/3 level and they are often covering more vocational subjects rather than the GCSE curriculum.

The candidate must be hard working, have experience supporting pupils with SEMH Difficulties and/or challenging behaviours. The candidate will work alongside the teacher to assist with behaviour management and work on a 1:1 basis with pupils who have additional needs and struggle in School either emotionally or academically.

The candidate MUST be available full time and be willing to work on an ad-hoc basis initially as the role will start on a supply basis with the view to being extended for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will benefit from :

- negotiable pay rates £54 - 60 per day

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
