Are you a Teaching Assistant seeking a role in the Leyland, Preston area?

Teaching Personnel are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in one of our partner Schools which caters for pupils with special educational needs including; Autism, ADHD, PMLD and Physical Disabilities. Some of the pupils in School may display challenging behaviours and therefore candidates with some classroom management skills would be favourable.

The role will be full time for the next half term, however, the role is likely to continue longer for the right candidate. The School will expect you to provide one voluntary day in School so they can ascertain your suitability for the role. The School is based on the outskirts of Preston, near the Leyland area.

The candidate must be experienced in working with pupils with various special educational needs and be willing to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who may display some challenging behaviours.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £54-64 per day

- Long term position available

- Rewarding position supporting pupils with SEN

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
