Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with a School based in the Leyland area which caters for pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties and the pupils in school often present challenging behaviours. The School is smaller than average and currently has approximately 45 pupils on roll. The School are seeking a hard working, full time member of staff to join their growing staff team.

Staff are expected to work with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis and candidates must be willing to provide one voluntary day in school to showcase their abilities. Staff in School are expected to de-escalate behaviours effectively and remain calm in crisis situations - some of the pupils in school are violent and therefore candidates with their team teach qualification will be favoured.

The School are looking for a full time member of staff as they anticpate gaining 4 new pupils over the next few weeks. The School is based on the outskirts of Leyland and candidates will ideally drive as you may be expected to transport pupils.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £54 - 64 per day

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
