Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Leyland based SEN School which caters for pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, Learning Difficulties, ADHD, ODD and pupils with challenging behaviours. The School is smaller than average and caters for pupils across KS2-4, many of the pupils in this School will display challenging behaviours therefore candidates who hold their Team Teach qualification will be favoured but this is not essential.

The role will start after the October half term and candidates must be willing to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who can display violent behaviours from time to time. The hours of work will be 8.40am - 4pm Monday - Thursday with an earlier finish on a Friday of 3.30pm.

The candidate suitable for this role will be enthusiastic, hard working, have experience working with adults or children who display challenging behaviours and be passionate about working with an enriching the lives of pupils who are often harder to reach. The School uses innovative behaviour management skills and runs a flexible curriculum, therefore, candidates from varying backgrounds will be considered.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
