Level 3 Teaching Assistant Required for Salford Primary School - M7

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a primary school in the central area of Salford, M7 who are looking to appoint a Level 3 teaching assistant to their OFSTED Graded "Good" Key Stage 1 Department for the summer term. Due to an extended leave of absence, this larger than average primary school in the central Salford area, M7 are looking to appoint a Level 3 teaching assistant ASAP until the end of the academic year at least.

Working within a large, 3 form entry Key Stage 1 department, the ideal level 3 teaching assistant will have a CACHE, NVQ or equivalent qualification and should be comfortable with covering classes as well as the normal expected duties of a level 3 teaching assistant. In return, you would have access to new, state of the art facilities and an experienced key stage 1 teaching team to allow you to develop and flourish within the role.

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant
  • Supporting Literacy, Numeracy and Phonics
  • Occasional class cover and PPA
  • Intervention groups with low, middle and higher ability children

The successful level 3 teaching assistant would have the following skill sets and experiences;

  • Experience of delivering phonics to small groups
  • Delivered Literacy and Numeracy interventions
  • Level 3 teaching assistant or equivalent
  • Be available full-time
  • £14,000 - £18000 Pro Rata
