Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Cover Supervisor required

Grade 4 - £13,074 - £14,544 per annum. £9.18 - £10.22 per hour

The salary is subject to the National Joint Council pay award and any local agreements

32 hours and 30 minutes per week, term time plus 1 week working 39 weeks per year

Temporary to 31 August 2019

Are you a level 3 teaching assistant? Do you have Experience working in a Primary School setting? Are you looking to take the next step in your development by becoming a Primary School Cover Supervisor?

If so an average sized primary school located in the Hindley area, is currently looking to appoint a level three Cover Supervisor to work across all Key stages and join their establish support team. The role is to start as soon as possible and will continue until the end of the academic year, with the possibility to been extended. The school is well resourced both inside and out and has a real unique, caring, family atmosphere to it, where both pupils and staff are support to achieve their full potential.

In order to be successful for this role you will need to:

  • Be adaptable as you will be working across KS1 and KS2
  • Have experience of covering pre planned work
  • Have effective behaviour management skills
  • Have experience supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Have good Numeracy and Literacy skills
  • Have strong communication skill and be able to work as part of a team
  • Have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
