L 3 TA required for Barnsley Primary

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Barnsley primary school that need a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible and can offer either full or part time work that fits around you and your existing commitments.

You will work under the instruction/guidance of the teacher and other senior staff members, to ensure the care and support of the pupils. You will help enable access to learning for the pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of their classroom. You will be working in a well respected primary school in the heart of the community

You will:

  • Have a CACHE Level 3 or degree related.
  • Have experience working with children across different Key Stages.
  • Be familiar with primary KS1/KS2 curriculum.
  • Have training or experience in relevant learning strategies.
  • Have shown initiative and be confident to get involved in all areas of the school.
  • Be a dedicated and passionate individual who wants to provide the best support for primary school pupils.
  • Positive behaviour management.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
