A client school in Fallowfield, Manchester (M14) are looking for a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their KS2 team on a full time basis. The school are looking for an experienced teaching assistant who is comfortable with the Year 4 curriculum and has experience supporting learning across KS2.

To be considered for this post, you will be comfortable taking small intervention groups and may be required to lead whole class sessions were necessary. The school are looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant who will work closely along side the class teacher to plan, assess and evaluate work whilst building strong relationships with staff, children and parents.

This is a 'GOOD' primary school which has the children and their families at the heart of everything it does. They are looking for a committed teaching assistant who will get involved in school life and become a respected part of the school community! The school was rated 'GOOD' with 'OUSTANDING' features at its most recent OFSTED inspection where it was praised for its high level of teaching and learning.

To be considered for this post, you will:

  • Be level 3 qualified or equivalent
  • Have recent and relevant experience supporting learning in KS2
  • Be comfortable and confident supporting class teaching and delivering intervention sessions

In return the school are able to offer the successful candidate the chance to work in a supported Primary school with an 'OUTSTANDING' leadership and management team. The post is to start ASAP and will run until the end of the academic year. The opportunity to work on to a school based contract may be possible for the right person.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
