Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Nailsea

Job description

The school is committed to ensuring that pupils progress effectively and are motivated to learn within a positive environment.

The position itself will involve supporting a pupil that requires support on a 1:1 basis. The pupil has Autism (High functioning) and is based in KS2.

Your duties will include:

  • Supporting the pupil daily on a full time basis
  • Working alongside the class teacher
  • Assisting with assessing pupil progress, which you will be fully supported on
  • Liaising with the parents/guardians and also external agencies

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
