A client school in the Whalley Range area of Manchester (M16) are looking for a level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their KS1 team on a full time basis after February half term. The head teacher of the school is looking for an experienced practitioner who is comfortable with the KS1 curriculum who will be able to continually assist with learning whilst helping children to reach their expected levels. The ideal candidate will be level 3 qualified and will be comfortable taking full classes. The school use the Letters and Sounds phonics scheme so a candidate with experience in that area would be beneficial.
The school are looking for a proactive, eager teaching assistant to become a part of the schools warm and friendly staffing team! This position is in a 'GOOD' Manchester Primary School where the staff have been praised by OFSTED for 'OUTSTANDING' teaching. This role will start after February half term and will run up until the end of the academic year. The opportunity to go on to a school based contract may be possible for the right candidate.
To be considered for this position you will have recent experience working in KS1 and will hold a level 3 Teaching assistant qualification.
