L3 Teaching Assistant (FULL-TIME)

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Sheffield Primary School that are in need of a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible and utilise their skills to provide classroom support on a full-time basis.

The job role and benefits:

  • You will work under the instruction/guidance of the teacher and other senior staff members, to ensure the care and support of the pupils
  • You will help enable access to learning for the pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of their classroom
  • Will involve work within the classroom and outside the main teaching area
  • Working in a well respected primary school in the heart of the community
  • Excellent transport links
  • Supporting class teacher within a strong senior team

YOU WILL:

  • Have a CACHE Level 3 or a degree
  • Have experience working with children across different Key Stages
  • Be familiar with the KS1/KS2 curriculum
  • Have training or experience in relevant learning strategies
  • Have shown initiative and be confident to get involved in all areas of the school
  • Be a dedicated and passionate individual who wants to provide the best support for primary school pupils
