Level 3 Teaching Assistant
- Start date – May 2020
- Salary from 285 - GBP300 a week
- Farnworth, Bolton (BL4) primary school
This role will be starting in May 2020 and will carry on for the rest of the academic year. The successful candidate will be working in the Year 6 class, supporting small groups to raise attainment in preparation for SATs.
The successful candidate will be expected to support the teacher and pupils within the classroom and lead English and maths interventions for small groups of pupils and on a 1:1 basis who are struggling with the class work.
You will:
- Be providing additional support in the Year 6 class room along side the class teacher.
- Be working with children in small group providing SATs prep.
- Liaise with the class teacher and provide feedback for all children.
A successful primary school applicant should:
- Be creative, enthusiastic and engaging
- Have a strong passion for helping pupils to succeed in what they do
- Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or Degree with relevant experience
- Have previous experience working with pupils with special educational needs
- Be flexible and adaptable
This is a larger than average sized primary school in the Bolton area and is dedicated to supporting all pupils, helping them reach their full potential. The school has a strong senior leadership team and can offer CPD courses for the successful candidates own personal development.
