Level 3 Qualified TA needed for Chesterfield School

A large and successful Primary School in Chesterfield are now seeking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in the first instance with a child one to one who has complex behavioural needs. The successful candidate, whilst working under the supervision of a qualified teacher and the SENCO, must be able to work independently and be capable of assessing the progress and development of the pupil. The essential aspects of this post is the ability to motivate children, along with a commitment to raise achievement and standards. An NVQ Level 3, or equivalent qualification, or relevant experience is needed and a good standard of English and Mathematics. Team teach training would also be desirable. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate sound ICT and excellent interpersonal skills and be flexible and adaptable. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
