Level 3 Nursery Assistant

The aim of your role is to support the delivery of a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children in EYFS. You will ensure that the outcomes of the children are met by providing highly effective, targeted provision, care and support. You will be supporting the delivery of wrap around care to the nursery children as well. 

Some of your main responsibilities include: 

• Ensuring your provide a stimulating and varied programme of play and learning opportunities to instill confidence and drive children's development and wellbeing.
• Supporting in setting up and clearing away activities from the day.
• To actively encourage children's progress in all areas of their development.
• Flexibility to ensure wrap around care is provided.

Some essential criteria which is required for the role include:

• GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English at Grade C or above.
• Further qualifications in relation to the position.
• Experience working in a Nursery environment
• Experience working with children under 2. 
• Calm under pressure and good sense of humour. 
• Flexibility.
• Ability to build relationships with both adults and children, showing respect at all times.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
