We are working on behalf of a school in Stockton to recruit for committed individuals with experience of supporting young people. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to support pupils with SEN aged 11-16.

The successful Teaching Assistant will support students in class across the subject areas, and deliver targeted interventions to students on a 1:1 basis during lessons and break times. Further to this, Teaching Assistants will have the opportunity to cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher, which is great experience of classroom and behaviour management.

Teaching Personnel are also working in partnership with a number of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, outstanding local schools and Universities to deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
