Job Title: Special Educational Needs Support Assistant
Location: Ealing
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Depending on your Availability
About Us: Teaching Personnel is a dedicated and inclusive educational institution committed to providing quality education for all students. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Special Educational Needs Support Assistant to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with classroom teachers to support students with special educational needs.
- Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students with varying needs, adapting teaching methods as required.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Collaborate with other support staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Monitor and track the progress of students with SEN, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role or a relevant educational background.
- Understanding of various special educational needs and strategies to support diverse learning requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
Requirements:
- Relevant certification or training in special education or a related field.
- Background check and clearance as required by local regulations.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
