Level 3 Cover Supervisor Required in Newton

Are you a level 3 teaching assistant? Do you have Experience working in a Primary School setting? Are you looking to take the next step in your development by becoming a Primary School Cover Supervisor?

If so a Primary school located in the Newton area of Wigan, is currently looking to appoint a level 3 Cover Supervisor to work across all Key stages and join their establish support team. The role is to start as soon as possible and has the possibility of going on to a permanent contract.

You will need to:

  • Be adaptable as you will be working across KS1 and KS2
  • Have experience of covering pre planned work
  • Have effective behaviour management skills
  • Have experience supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Have good Numeracy and Literacy skills
  • Have strong communication skill and be able to work as part of a team
  • Have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification

The school is a larger than average school and is located in the Newton area of Wigan and has strong transport links from Salford, Warrington and Wigan. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
