Level 2 Teaching Assistant required with SEND responsibilities

Grade 5 - £11,352 - £13,331 per annum. £9.50 - £11.15 per hour.

35 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year.

Are you experienced supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs including ASC, SEMH, VI, HI and PMLD? Are you experienced carrying out 1:1 support? Do you have a real passion to make a difference?

If so, due to an increase in the number of pupils receiving educational health care plans, a larger than average primary school is currently looking to appoint an SEN support assistant to join their well established support team, working alongside the school SENCO in order to ensure each individual pupil's needs are fully supported.

In order to be successful you will need to:

  • Have experience supporting a range of SEN needs.
  • Be confident providing 1:1 support.
  • Have a kind, calm, nurturing approach when working with pupils.
  • Be proactive.
  • Have a good level of Maths and English.
  • Be flexible and adaptable.
  • Have a real willingness to make a difference in pupil's lives.
