Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a client school in Urmston area of Trafford, M41. This 'GOOD' Roman Catholic Primary School are in search of a level 2 teaching assistant to work in their year 1 class on a full time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working with KS1 children and will have a sound knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and jolly phonics framework. To be considered for the position, you will have recent and relevant experience supporting learning in a primary environment and will be looking to enhance your career in education!

This 2 form entry primary school follows a strong Roman Catholic ethos and is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant who will continually adhere to the schools practices. The ideal candidate will be expected to work alongside the class teacher whilst delivering intervention groups in core subject areas to help raise attainment. The school are looking for a dedicated candidate who is able to implement strong behaviour management techniques whilst working as a positive role model for all children across the school.

This full time teaching assistant position is due to start in September and will be on going for the remainder of the academic year. The opportunity to work on to a school based contract may be possible for the right person!

To be considered for the position, you will:

  • Have recent & relevant experience in school
  • Hold a level 2 qualification or equivalent

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
