Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Bury (M26) primary school
An average sized primary school located in the Bury (M26) area is currently looking to appoint a teaching assistant to work in the Year 2 class supporting the teacher and pupils within the classroom setting.
The Head teaching is looking for a warm and nurturing teaching assistant to join the Key Stage 1 team and support the Year 2 teacher whilst the class prepares for its SATS exams at the end of the year. Due to this, experience using different phonics schemes is essential and you will liaise closely with the Year 2 teacher to evaluate the progress of the pupils.
A successful candidate should:
- Hold a minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Have a create approach to learning
- Have experience using different phonics schemes
- Be a good communicator and work well as part of a team
This Bury based primary school has previously been graded 'Good' by Ofsted. The school works closely with all of its pupils and staff to create a positive learning environment and it has strong links with the community. The school has a warm and welcoming family ethos as pushes all children to reach their full potential.
