Level 2 ASC Teaching Assistant required

Grade 5 - £11,352 - £13,331 per annum. £9.50 - £11.15 per hour.

30 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year.

Salford, M5

Are you experienced supporting across KS1? Do you hold a minimum of a Level 2? Are you experienced supporting pupils with ASC or Challenging behavioural needs?

If so a larger than average primary school located in the M5 area of Salford, previously graded as 'Good' by Ofsted, is currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic, engaging, outgoing Teaching Assistant to work as part of their KS1 team. The role would be to support pupils on a 1:1 basis with ASC needs.

The school aims to ensure that pupils are able to grow in an environment where they are safe, to share learning with others, to learn through opportunities and to laugh in a community that makes the most of everyday.

In order for you to be successful for this role you will need to:

  • Be nurturing
  • Be adaptable and flexible
  • Have a good understanding of the early years curriculum
  • Have a strong knowledge of phonics
  • Be experienced working with challenging behavioural needs
  • Have strong levels of English and Maths
  • Hold a minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
