Learning Support Mentor

Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently on the lookout for a talented and empathetic individual to support pupils at a primary school in the NG15 area of Nottingham. The school are looking for somebody with previous experience in supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. They pride themselves on providing a safe learning environment where each pupil truly feels valued, regardless of their background or ability. Taking this into consideration, the successful candidate will need to be an individual who is truly nurturing and can remain calm under pressure.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children/adults with SEMH or/and challenging behaviour
  • An empathetic and flexible support style
  • A child workforce DBS registered on the online update service
  • A good sense of humour and passion for making a difference

The school are looking for somebody to join their team on a part time basis, working 5 mornings per week. If you have experience utilising challenging behaviour management in a school environment, or have experience in support work or care, and feel you could contribute to this outstanding school, please get in touch as soon as possible.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
