Full time Learning Support Mentor required from September 2019 for a mixed comprehensive Secondary school, based in the Farnworth region of Bolton.

Due to an influx of pupils on Education Health Care Plans (EHCP's) yet to be allocated a Learning Support Mentor, this well respected Secondary school wishes to appoint numerous high calibre staff members to join their support provisions.

  • Full time Learning Support Mentor, required September 2019.
  • Must have previous experience working with young people, helping them overcome barriers to teaching and learning to be considered.
  • Located in Farnworth, easily accessible via the M60.
  • Continued access to CPD training programmes provided with full support.
  • Earn up to £350+ per week.

As the incoming Learning Support Mentor you will be working 1:1 within the support provisions in place at school and across Key Stages 3 and 4, you can also expect to liaise with parents and staff regarding pupil progress, take on co-curricular activities and have access to outstanding CPD courses.

The school is an average sized mixed comprehensive Secondary school which currently has just over 700 pupils on roll, aged 11-16 and is located in the Farnworth region of Bolton. The school can be accessed via the M60 and there are numerous public transport links readily available from the surrounding areas; Bury, Preston, Salford and Wigan.
