Job description

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistants (LSA) to join an excellent Primary School based in Acton.

The school are looking for a LSA to join the school this November.

About The Role:

This role will be based around supporting a pupil one to one, they are a set of complex needs such as; ADHD, Autism, Down-syndrome and global learning delay. You will be required to provide feedback on their progression and track their ability - catering to their needs. You will expected to build a good relationship with your pupil and deliver 1:1 interventions to assist with their Reading, Literacy and Numeracy.

This is an excellent school that has build a great reputation with the area, being known for it's progression through the years. There is an excellent and established SEN department, being led by an experience SENCO who is looking to push and build the experience of their new member of staff.

- You are passionate about supporting children, especially those with Special Educational Needs

- Good written and spoken English

- Degree qualified or teaching assistant qualification

- At least 3 months classroom based experience

- Able to use own initiative and flexible can-do attitude

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
